Through The Great Vine is a physics-puzzle game in which you will have to nurture and grow plants, so that they may blossom.
This is a submission for GMTK Game 2024, and is my third jam to date.

If anyone wants a custom icon for the game, here is one I made for it. Just organizing itch games that I really like, so I made this. Basically I just cropped the game banner.
Really cool idea! Controls are kinda tedious once you get the two shinies and I wish more levels had little platforms you could leave them on without them rolling away, but overall I really enjoyed this!
Thanks ! those two are fixes I made for the post jam version iirc (or for the unreleased, post-post jam version lol). One of the levels was designed where people found an unintended solution (which was a frustrating one to pull off.)

Honestly this game probably isn’t going anywhere. Im not too interested in developing it further. But what I learned from it will surely be used to make my next game even better
It's unplayable with touch pad after level 4, as it's impossible to hold right click and left click at the same time and you can't use the "warmer" hability
Yeah sorry. The game was made in 3 days so there wasn’t enough time for playtesting on different devices
I'm stuck on Tributary

Hints from subtle to straight up answer.
Trying to plug the hole will stop new water reaching the roots.
Make sure you maintain continuous water supply as it will keep draining.
Keep sending water left.
Grow up and right quickly (holding right click) so that new water is reaching the roots.
Grow close to top right then make a very gradual slope left so water runs over the tip of the plant. Don't start heading up towards the bees early, keep the water flowing until you make a final sprint.
